    A great way I conserve energy during the summer is using fans, closing the blinds during the day to prevent the greenhouse effect of the sun, and limiting the use of the oven.

    Nothing is better than a cool breeze blowing through the house in the morning on a summer morning. Maximize the cool temp by closing the coverings on any windows that get direct sunlight. This will extend the morning cool for a couple extra hours.

    I am fortunate to live in an area with access to alternative energy sources.
