Nothing of note to add in the waning hours, so one more song for the heck of it. Next time I'll post one each day, also for the heck of it. Today's ditty comes from Spiritualized's third album, "Ladies and Gentlemen We're Floating in Space." Saw them twice on this tour, possibly in an altered state of mind. With no further ado......

Abandoning the illusions of ownership and limitless resource, and embracing stewardship and circularity. Or in more basic terms - reducing our consumption of resources, being cognizant of how we use resources, and preventing the generation of waste - of energy, of material, and of resource, including humans. We are not the owners of this world,...

Nothing new of note to share, so on to a song. At first I thought Electric Eye by Judas Priest was the way to go, but really it couldn't be anything other than a song about a riot: Eddy Grant - Electric Avenue - YouTube

Two posts in one day? What is happening over here! Luckily this one is in jest: The Smiths - There Is A Light That Never Goes Out (Official Audio) - YouTube One could hope that by 2023 the light that never goes out at least has a dimmer on it.

Follow up from my previous "Ongoing Exploits in Energy Management" email elicited many responses, including briefly veering into a discussion on social media. What I've found effective is explaining what renewable energy certificates represent - voluntary investments in the transition to renewable/non-carbon energy sources. These include the installation, generation, and transmission of electricity from solar, wind, and hydroelectric sources in the PNW primarily, as well as the battery infrastructure...

See previous comment on my inability to do this with any consistency. In April I started a periodic energy news email with colleagues. Today's entry in that endeavor, without omission: More stuff to share! So much that I plan to send these out with greater regularity - small portions of info as opposed to a feast. Some say it's better for...

Going well. Have provided Lura with new SEM data. Priced out LEDs for Huntington, Oregon. Contacted window film companies.

Great. We have taken it to the streets. April 23, replaced T8 Neon tubes with LEDs, Halfway, Oregon. Looking to do the switch over in Huntington in June. We have ordered a more thorough thermal inspection of our building.

Challenge going well. New posters are done. We have implemented the software changes for our PCs in the office. We have worked on the weather stripping, door operation. Researching new air handlers and RTUs. Personally, I have replaced the oil furnace in my home with a Brandt 95% forced air unit. I am researching doors with transom windows for...
