The Energy Challenge forced me to learn the settings on my new dishwasher and I discovered that the shortest setting for washing a load is 40 minutes, WAY shorter than the default of 2 hours!! It appears my dishes are just as clean. I can only imagine how much hot water and electricity this is saving me!

I have been rocking a wool sweater and blanket at my desk. I haven't looked at my thermostat in a week.

I work from home but wanted to complete the "walk or bike to work" action. Decided to walk and bike to the gym & grocery store this week instead (those are my two main car destinations)!

Just learned that the US national per capita average carbon emissions for food consumption is 1750kg/year! That is way higher than I expected.
