May 13 at 9:02 AMIn honor of the month's energy challenge, I replaced the water valve in my home toilet. It was old and occasionally ran too long. It is amazing how fast it fills now. I tested it with food coloring and there is no leak!!!

May 3 at 11:34 AMFun fact for saving energy with washing clothes in cold water. If your washer has 2 settings of cold and cool or cold and tap cold, the cool/tap cold settings actually use less energy per wash since they don't have the system actively chilling the cold water coming in from the pipe. 👍😊
